ICAI CA Exams Rescheduled 2025: New Dates Announced for Final, Intermediate & INTT-AT Papers
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released a revised schedule for the May 2025 Chartered Accountants (CA) Examinations. The announcement, dated 10th May 2025, brings important updates for candidates appearing for Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT–AT) papers.
Why Were the CA Exams Rescheduled?
According to the ICAI, the schedule change comes due to favorable developments in the country’s security situation. Initially, the exams were planned between 9th and 14th May 2025. However, they will now be conducted between 16th and 24th May 2025.
This revision affects select papers from Group II of the Final and Intermediate levels, as well as the INTT–AT.

Note: All exams will be held at the same time—2 PM to 5 PM IST (some papers may extend till 6 PM depending on the subject).
Admit Cards Remain Valid
Candidates can breathe a sigh of relief—there’s no need to download new admit cards. ICAI has clarified that previously issued admit cards remain valid for the new exam dates.
Foundation Exams Unchanged
There is no change in the Foundation course exam schedule. These exams will proceed as originally planned on:
- 15th May 2025
- 17th May 2025
- 19th May 2025
- 21st May 2025
What If a New Holiday Is Declared?
ICAI has also mentioned that even if the Central or State Government declares a public holiday on any of the rescheduled exam days, the exam schedule will remain unaffected. Students are advised to plan accordingly and avoid relying on holiday announcements.
