In a recent announcement, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially postponed the Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate Examinations scheduled to be held on 3rd and 4th September 2025. This decision was taken due to the incessant rainfall and flood situation in parts of Punjab and Jammu City. The announcement came as a sudden update for many CA aspirants who were preparing to appear for these crucial papers.

Why Was the ICAI CA September 2025 Exam Postponed?

The decision to postpone the CA exams was made after assessing the impact of continuous rainfall and flood conditions in certain regions. ICAI emphasized that the safety and convenience of students, staff, and exam centres were the top priority.

The postponement is applicable only to exams scheduled on 3rd and 4th September 2025, and only in the following centres:

Amritsar
Bathinda
Jalandhar
Ludhiana
Mandi Gobindgarh
Pathankot
Patiala
Sangrur
Jammu City

All other exam centres across India will continue with the original schedule announced on 30th May 2025.
